This is a connected family database.
People are not necessarily related, but all connect via spouse
links etc. Major surnames include Smith, Greig, Taylor, Anderson,
Watt, Wyness, Archibald, Davidson, Lugton, Noble, Mitchell, Duncan,
Cordiner, Reid, Stewart, MacDonald, Morrison, Milne, Jessiman,
Robertson, Scott, Wilson, Dalgarno, Gammack, etc. It covers the
USA, Canada, Australia and many other countries as well as the
UK. Dates and places for living people are suppressed.
Although baptised/christening dates (bp.) have been substituted where exact birth dates are unknown, note that some people have supplied baptised dates as birth dates, so not every birth date will be one. Note that the family pages have been split into smaller pages for those with only dial-up access. This means that when you go to the page headed 'H' for example, you will have to look at the names at the top of the page to work out whether the surname you are looking for is on that page or another. There are some 2,670+ pages in the database, each with up to 500 names. There will therefore be some errors and I would be glad to be notified of them.
